TYPES OF CRUISE CONTROL
We offer three types of cruise control systems;

ELECTRONIC 'DRIVE BY WIRE' CRUISE CONTROL WITH CAN BUS

With three types of stalks, Left or Right stalk, 3 Memory stalk and dash mounted stalk.




Current technology in vehicles now means that more and more functions are carried out electronically with vehicles now using more computing power for example ABS braking, traction control, power steering and the engine throttle.

The latest SPAL RG8 cruise control takes advantage of this electronic throttle and links directly into the throttle management to duplicate the speed/throttle ratio whilst driving.

This results in a much more reliable cruise control system.

With built-in safety features that disengage the system if the following conditions occur:

Operation of the brake pedal.
When the OFF key of the control
When module is pressed.
Excessive engine rpm.
When the set speed is reduced by 50%.
When the set speed is increased by up to 150%.
When the ignition is turned off.
