The Need
for EtherAlert
Reports of ether-based narcotic sprays being used in robberies are on
the increase. This poses a real threat to those who spend the night in
their caravan, motorhome. When released into a confined space, such sprays
cause sleeping occupants to enter a deep slumber enabling robberies to
take place without the knowledge of the occupants.
Effective
Specifically designed as an effective deterrent for such attacks. A sensor
mounted within the cabin detects ether-based gases before they can take
effect. This triggers an ear-piercing siren to deter intruders, wake the
occupants and warn others close by. An optional high-visibility beacon
can also be connected to flash in the event of an alarm.
Discreet
(EA1000 EA2000)
The ether sensor is small and stylish. It is designed to be mounted in
a panel or flat surface near the sleeping area. The main electronic control
box is powered from the 12V supply of the caravan, motorhome or boat and
can be installed anywhere within the cabin area (including in a cupboard
if desired). The electronic alarm siren is housed separately giving further
flexibility to the installation.
Simple to Use
For security, a key switch on the control unit is used to activate the
unit before sleeping each night. Lamps on the control unit indicate system
power, sensor health and alarm conditions. A single push button is provided
to test the system. Factory calibrated and requires no replaceable parts
or user adjustment. Low
Power
The latest technology sensors combine high performance with very low power
consumption.
